ProjectManager 2.7

Here’s a short list of new features:

  • Image Upload
  • Video Upload
  • Internal Link to other Projects Datasets

Besides I have cleaned out some unneccessary HTML. If you use FormField Types “Internal Link”, “Dropdown Menu”, “Checkbox List” or “Radio List” it is required to save FormFields first. Afterwards there will be a link displayed next to the selection menu for the field type to add Options or choose a Project to link to. This is due to Javascript Problems. I assume they are caused by the fact that HTML is dynamically added to the page and so it cannot find the new element for some reason..

I have some problems with old/new projectmanaer (v2.6 und v2.7) after changing my website to an new provider. my new website ist http://www.runningsocks.de (provider= http://www.revido.de).
after installing the plugin and activating i get the following message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘(‘, expecting ‘}’ in /var/www/web199/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/projectmanager/lib/core.php on line 713

i dont know, what to do.
in my wordpress database i have a lot of project manager tables e.g. coloumns (look at my old Site: http://runningsocks.hobby-site.com/wordpress/)

i tried to deactivate an activate the plugins: without success.
i deleted the complete plugin directory and installed it in a new way: without success.

I don’t understand why I don’t get this parse error, but you can try Version 2.7.1. It should be available shorty, where hopefully this issue is fixed.

    @Kolja Schleich
hi; in this moment i tried the new version 2.7.1, but i get a similar failure message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’, expecting ‘(‘ in /var/www/web199/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/projectmanager/lib/core.php on line 1184

i hope you can find the bug as fast as the last and you try to fix this problem :-)

have i to delete the “project tabels” in the wordpress database before updating? (previously i take a backup or export of may database / tables)

I am looking at adding a simple table so my customer can store products.
When I put the shortcode in my “testing” page [ project id=1 ] it doesn’t display the table with the data entered

    What am I doing wrong?

I am creating a database of personalized newspaper applications and right now it is just a simple formbuilder form. However, I would like to output the contents of what is submitted into a searchable database. Is there a way I can do this with your plugin?

There is a simple search algorithm. Any improving suggestions are welcome

Is it possible to comment a single post in projectmanager?
I don’t want to use the wp-comment while they will aper on every single post for projectmanager.

    Hi Kolja,
i probally found a javascript syntax error in your projectmanager.
While adding formfields (admin.php?page=projectmanager&subpage=formfields&project_id=1) in IE8 you receive the following error message:
    ——————–

It´s seems to be an IE Bug cause Firefox works!

Does anyone have any success running projectmanager 2.9 with Wordpress 2.8.4? I cannot add form fields. I can only get name and picture added for data sets.
