Unpack the file somewhere on your webserver, e.g. /chcounter. Then you'll need to edit includes/config.inc.php and insert your database settings. Next go to http://your_site/chcounter/install/install.php to install it. Then go back to the Widget and set the path so it points to the chCounter installation, in this example simply "chcounter". I don't understand that with the chCounter path for the installation folder chCounter. If it's not the folder where the plugin is (inside of /wp-content/plugins/) where is it? and what should this folder contain? the same files once again? i’m having trouble trying to install the chCounter.
